The Mens Alpine Technical Team took some time away from their busy Olympic schedule to rest and prepare for their races next week. They are taking this time and training opportunity at Panorama. Pano held a reception for these athletes, the snowboard team and the Paralympic Alpine team on Thursday night. The Mens Alpine Team will also be having a slalom race on Hay Fever this Saturday...come out and cheer on our Olympic heros before they compete on the World's biggest stage next week!
Pictured first is my son Nathan with Alpine star and Whistler super-local, Mike Janyk. Mike and his sister Brit are both major contenders ion Whistler. Next; Nat with Canadian Snowboard sensation Alexsa Loo . The third shot is local Nick Brush with Chris Williamson. Chris, who is visually impaired races with Nick as his guide. The pair are heavily favoured to go for gold next month! GO CANADA GO!!
